Review: James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

Peaches are small yummy fruits for dessert? Then you haven’t read this book.

What is this story all about?

James is a boy who lives with Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker on a hill. He has to work for them, cut wood, bring them glasses of lemonade…
Then strange things happened: After James dropped accidentally some magic crystals a peach grew on a peach tree that never grew peaches before!!! It grew and grew until it was the size of a house!!!
But that’s not all. James found an entrance to the hyper enormous peach. And that is not all he found…

Illustrated by Quentin Blake.

How did I like the book?
I liked the story very very much because it was exciting and had a hook. James is a really kind boy. It was great seeing him making friends.
